Main Objective:
To develop environmental civic awareness among pre-university students.
The core goal of the project is to educate young people about the importance of
environmental protection and to help them develop sustainable habits. In a world

Interactive and Innovative Activities:
Throughout the school year, students and teachers at "Petru Maior" College will be
involved in various creative and educational activities designed to highlight
environmental protection and sustainable development:
1. Creative environmental workshops – Students will have the opportunity to
participate in workshops where they will learn about recycling, resource conservation,
and reducing their carbon footprint. These activities are designed to be interactive,
stimulating creativity and curiosity among young people.
2. Outdoor classroom – An innovative concept aimed at bringing nature closer to
education. Lessons held outdoors will offer students direct contact with nature,
learning about ecosystems and biodiversity.
3. Bicycle parking – Promoting non-polluting means of transportation is an important
part of the project. A new bicycle parking area will be set up to encourage students to
use bikes as a daily means of transport.
4. Gardening space for students – As part of this project, students will have the
opportunity to learn about sustainable agriculture and actively participate in
maintaining a gardening space. This activity will allow them to better understand
natural processes and the importance of healthy soil.
5. Teaching materials for teachers – Teachers will have access to updated and

environmental education.
6. Tree planting action – This plays a crucial role in extending the impact of
ecological education beyond the school space, aiming not only to improve the local

7. Ecological camp – A unique opportunity for hands-on learning in nature, away
from the traditional school environment. The ecological camp combines educational,
recreational, and team-building activities, all aimed at sensitizing young people to
environmental protection and teaching them how to live in harmony with nature
