We are so happy to announce you that in 2019 we have our first Cleanwood forest installed.
After 3 years from plantation, followed by annual care and maintenance works, we managed to establish a 3 ha forest. To make a forest is not sufficient only the first step, planting, but also the next steps. Maintenance works, without which the seedlings cannot survive and overcome the seedling stage. It was a long road from seedlings to a forest, and without these small and consistent steps we would not have been able to reach this result.
From the very beginning, our association has committed that every project started will be followed over a minimum period of 4 years. It is important to plant seedlings that are cared for until they turn into forest vegetation. In all these years, a team of forest specialists has been with us every time we risked losing the seedlings because of the abundant vegetation or from various other causes.
Our volunteers have been trained from the beginning in this spirit, to plant a forest, not just seedlings. This is our message and we want to keep it alive also in the years to come. We invite you in Suplac, Mureş county to visit our first forest and we expect you to support us in starting new afforestation projects.
