Tremendous joy at the last Vintage Bazar Mureș event; warm October days helped us to hold this event outdoors at Uzina Foto Tg. Mureș. The chosen location is a special one. Before the 1990s, this place produced photosensitive images and films, famous throughout the country. Since 2016, Uzina Foto has turned into an alternative cultural center, a place where artists can express themselves freely. What is Vintage Bazar Mureș?
Autumn report – orchard – Batoș, 2023
At Batoș in the orchard, time seems to stand still, every time we get to this place it is as if we merge with nature, sometimes we enjoy the morning dew, and other times the colorful sunset. Old walnuts await us each time, in different stages of vegetation, sometimes green and sometimes golden, and full of fruit. This year is the first year of conversion to organic agriculture. We are grateful that we received this certification and that we were able to do the cleaning work in the orchard.
WALNUT ORCHARD in Batoș – first year -2023
We again felt the joy of seeing each other at planting this spring in the new orchard in Batoș. Volunteers from the “Petru Maior” College of Reghin and the “Traian Vuia” Technological High School of Târgu Mureș joined us at the planting. Spring planting 202
We have started preparing for the spring season. We are starting the first year of planting and orchard rehabilitation in Batoș, Mureș county. This year we drew the border of the land and we want to plant the seedlings that are missing in the orchard, we also want to clean the land of invasive plants, help old walnuts to regenerate through specialized works. At the moment the land is undergoing environmental certification, an important aspect that we want to implement from the beginning. 2022 Spring- projects overview
Spring is nearly gone and we are ending a period with new projects and a new direction in the activity of the Clean Wood CO2 association. This year we resumed the educational projects that support the planting of trees and fruit trees in schools in Mureș County. We launched the project entitled THE GARDEN IN THE SCHOOLYARD – “Education for sustainability: the garden as a pedagogical resource for sustainable development.” With the support of the English teacher, Maria-Olivia Tătar, we started a collaboration with 3 schools from Mureș County: Hodac Secondary School, Valea Largă Secondary School, Zau de Câmpie Primary...
Acacia picnic – 5th of June 2021
On the 5th of July, 2021, we celebrated WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY with the “Acacia Picnic” event. The location chosen was a special one, our first acacia forest. It was a great joy to see how the seedlings grew in 5 years, to feel the aromatherapy scents of acacia flowers, to pick the flowers in order to dry them and use them in the preparation of teas or infusions.
